Course Overview

This course provides seafarers with essential knowledge of safe working practices, accident prevention, pollution prevention, emergency procedures, effective communication onboard, teamwork, and social responsibilities. It also addresses human relationships on board ship, fatigue management, prevention of and response to violence and harassment, and compliance with shipboard rules and procedures, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Target Audience
• Mandatory to all personnel employed or engaged in any capacity on board ships, including new entrants, merchant/fishing vessel crew, offshore workers, and Pleasure craft staff.
