This course is intended for masters, officers, and other personnel designated to perform the duties of Ship Security Officer on board ships subject to the ISPS Code. It provides the knowledge, understanding, and proficiency necessary to undertake ship security duties, maintain and implement the Ship Security Plan (SSP), and ensure effective security measures are applied at all times.
