Panama Maritime Documentation Services (PMDS) has issued Technical Circular TC-16-26 – “ISM-Related Deficiencies: Maintenance of the Ship & Equipment (ISM 10)”.
The Circular provides focused guidance on the relationship between the actual condition of the ship and equipment, Planned Maintenance System (PMS), defect reporting, corrective actions, and effective implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS).
Our objective is to promote effective ISM implementation and contribute to reducing ISM-related deficiencies and PSC detentions.
